Aroostook County’s oldest and largest craft fair with more than 140 crafters from throughout New England.
Ten poets, eight visual artists, dancer Lisa Newcomb, and Ave Stella Maris (an cappella ensemble) participate in the sixth annual Belfast Poetry Festival in downtown Belfast. “This is one of the only community-based, non-academic poetry festivals in the country,” says Belfast Poet Laureate Linda Buckmaster. Another unique feature of the festival is the Gallery Walk that exhibits the work of poet and artist “teams” in seven galleries around town.
