Unveiling of the orchestra's new concert grand piano, made possible through a generous grant.
Soloist George Lopez will join the orchestra for these familiar favorites: Overture to Girl Crazy, Promenade/Walking the Dog, and Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin
The orchestra will also play Carmen Suite No. 1 and Suite No. 2 by Georges Bizet

In partnership with Evenings at Abromson, the University of Southern Maine School of Music will present this special evening of favorite show tunes. The cast includes musical theater majors, past and present – many of whom are “coming home” just for this event. The well-known director and pianist for the evening is USM musical theater faculty member, Edward Reichert.
