She will present information and images that show the effects of glaciers and wave action on the rocks of Schoodic. The meeting will be at Eliot Hall on the SERC campus. The society is seeking new members, but the program is open to all. Have a new telescope? Join the thousands of people across the country who participate in the largest and longest-running citizen science project, counting birds for the Audubon Christmas Bird Count. As part of the national effort that has taken place for over 100 years, SERC Institute will assist in the Schoodic Bird Count, held this year on New Year’s Day. The Schoodic Christmas Bird Count will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013. Count compiler Bill Townsend and Schoodic Bird Ecology Lab Director Seth Benz invite you to get in on the action.
