A professional showcase, Live & Dance Strong has become an elite opportunity for the gathering of respected choreographers and performers across Maine. Established in 2009, Live & Dance Strong has raised over $13,000 for the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care. Last year we teamed up with the Marlee Fund to establish a scholarship program for dancers across Maine. We awarded three scholarship packages last year and aim to double that this year. A portion of ticket sales will continue to be donated to the cancer center in the memory of my father, Richard J.

The forty-five-member Auburn Community Concert Band continues celebrating its thirtieth anniversary season. This summer's eleven-week concert series is scheduled for June 15 through August 24 from 7  to 8:15 p.m. In case of inclement weather, performances will take place inside the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch, located at Great Falls Plaza.
